June is Adopt a Cat Month!

The American Humane Association has designated the month of June as "Adopt a Cat Month."  Many homeless and abandoned cats and kittens need loving homes. Click here to find out about the health benefits of cat ownership. Do yourself a favor, do a good turn. Adopt a cat!

We've Got Kittens!
Sweet and perky, these cute and tumbly little babies love to play. Plus, they're all ready for their forever homes. Click here to meet the kittens of 2008!

Donations needed
The housing crisis and rising gas prices have taken their toll on our feline friends, and we've seen an increase in the number of cats and kittens coming in to us now that their owners can no longer take care of them.  Long Beach Felines is a non-profit organization that funds its efforts to help rescue cats and kittens through community donations.  Donations go toward providing proper veterinary care, food, shelter and supplies for the many rescue cats that come through our doors.  If you would like to make a donation to help cats and kittens in need, please click here.

Record Adoptions in 2007!
We are happy to report that this year Long Beach Felines was able to find loving forever homes for more than 100 cats. This was, of course, due to your willingness to open your homes and hearts to these wonderful felines. We're sending out a huge and heart-felt THANK YOU to all of our adopters. So far, 2008 has been another great year! We look forward to placing even more cats and kittens into wonderful forever homes!
